This afternoon, company 12 was dispatched to the 12-03 box for a grass fire. PD arrived on scene and found a 10×10 area of the backyard of the residence on fire. The resident was attempting to extinguish the fire with the garden hose. Engine 3-12 arrived on scene and extinguished the remainder of the fire and saturated the remaining area.
