In the early hours of Friday morning, Truck 12 responded to Lemoyne for a bed room fire. Chief 2-13 quickly arrived on scene and found a duplex with heavy wind driven fire from the rear of the building. Companies 10 and 13 arrived on scene and began an interior attack. Truck 12 arrived soon after and laddered the building. Crews were able to get a good knock on the fire before it could spread to the neighboring home. 2nd alarm was requested to the scene for additional manpower. One fire fighter was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. Units cleared the scene around 0600 hrs. A child playing with a lighter was the cause of the blaze.
